The Callisto Protocol 03

Callisto Protocol 03
Hello, friends!
I present to you the completion of the trilogy of modular levels in the sci-fi style of the game "Callisto Protocol".

My main goal in this work was to make it as realistic and playable as possible, adding my own creative edits that helped make the level more spectacular, atmospheric and memorable.
Also to work with tile textures in the substance designer.

The central part of the level design was the "Mechanism in the pool", which is the basis of this level, outwardly similar to the original version from the game.
After a detailed study of the level, I determined all the metrics I needed to build a blockout of the entire location. I also thought about how to connect my previous level with a new more interesting image.

At the draft stage, I decided what colors and lighting would be on future assets of the location.
Modeling was done in a medium-poly pipeline, with the expectation of using a nanite mesh. I also used scraps and mechanical decals for increased detailing of assets.
Since the character was planned in the project from the first person, the density of the textile was within 512-1024 pixels per meter.
All props, small and medium assets have a unique layout, large and fairly large architectural objects have a tile layout with 1024 textile.
In the work on level art, the main technology for assembling and optimizing the level was the World Partition system.

The lighting is fully dynamic using Lumen technology. An interesting combination of warm and cold tones.
Added the necessary working vfx.
Final lighting setup and full optimization to a playable state.
